Introducing Vellum: a new way to write LARPs online.
I wrote Vellum for my LARP group, Alleged Entertainment. We've used a lot of software over the years for various projects - MediaWiki, LarpML, Google Docs - but I felt I could make something better for the unique needs of a LARP writing team. Vellum is my attempt to do that.
With Vellum, you can assign out writing work to team members and get automatically notified when they're done. You can link characters to plots and watch the plot web shift around to match. And you can have full control over the way your character sheets come out, in both HTML and PDF format.
Alleged Entertainment is currently using Vellum for two LARP projects, and there's also another game at Intercon J written using Vellum (but I'm not telling - you'll just have to come to the session and find out.)
In this session, I'm going to demonstrate the basics of using Vellum and take questions and suggestions on the software.
