I was sitting in a Hollywood Hawaiian hotel. I was staring in my empty coffee cup. I was thinking that the gypsy wasn't lying: all the salty margaritas in Los Angeles? I'm gonna drink 'em up. And, if California slides into the ocean like the mystics and statistics say it will, I predict this motel will be standing until I pay my bill. "Desperadoes Under the Eaves," Warren Zevon

Desperadoes Under The Eaves is a tale of love, drugs, monsters, fugitives, and shifting perceptions set in an unusual California hotel. Inspired by the musical works of Warren Zevon, Desperadoes blends urban fantasy, modern noir, and grim humor into a frothy cocktail and serves it up cold and sweet, but with a kick. Expect lawyers, guns, money, and a handful of lycanthropes of British descent.

Desperadoes Under The Eaves is for players aged 18 and up. Some, but not all, characters may include references to drug abuse, sexual abuse, and other mature themes. If any of these subjects are concerning to you, please talk to a GM and we can make sure that you are cast safely and appropriately. This is a one-shot, stand-alone theater style game, set in the 80's in a hotel bar. It is low on mechanics and combat, high on roleplaying.
