Intercon is our annual live-action roleplay convention held in New England in late February/early March. It has a long history, approaching forty years (going through several names in the process, they). Every year, hundreds of LARPers come to play great games, socialize with other great LARPers, and attend great theory talks!
Each intercon gets its own website (which are left up forever for archival purposes). Throughout the year, LARPs get submitted to be run at intercon and added to the event catalog. Then, in November, players sign up for games they’d like to play. Character sheets, rules, and more are sent out over the next few months, costumes get assembled, and materials get printed before the big weekend. Intercon lasts four days, full of larping, panels, and social events!
